| Last season was certainly a tale of two teams. The regular season saw the Flyers play uninspired hockey for long stretches and they came with a pubic hair of missing the playoffs. Once in the playoffs, they turned on the afterburners and came within two wins of the unthinkable. So, which Flyers team shows up this year? Are we looking at a 100-115 point season and another strong playoff run or will they revert back to the under-achieving team we saw in the regular season. I can't wait to find out. | |

| I actually think they got worse, need a up front goalie, was sorry to see them get rid of Gagne, wish they would of gotten a little more for him, Carter needs to improve and if possible get rid of Briere and get something in return, of course this is not going to be easy as everyone knows the problem the flyers are having with the cap | |

| Briere was a beast in the playoffs. | |

| yes he was but we also need him during the season, I am saying while we can get someting in return do it now, in another year it will be like Gagne | |

| My only concern at this point is goaltending. Get that worked out and we are set. | |

| that is a very good point (goaltending) my only concern really is for our future, I don't think with the way hockey (sports) in general goes, you cannot just plan for one year must look at the whole picture with of course the current year the most important, if that makes any sense. | |

| I expect Leighton to fall on his face and Homer to realize he should have signed a goalie | |

| If the Flyers go into the season with Leighton and Boucher as goalie. Then it will be another disappointing season for the Flyers | |

How'd that last season work out?? Seriously, I tend to agree. Would have been nice if they would have gone after one of the big name goalies. Still, I love the team going into this season. | |

| Leighton is not a big time goaltender. Go back and look at the playoffs and the Finals. He let's too many rebounds. They're is a reason no one signed him to starter money, because no one believes he is anything more then a back up. | |

| they do need a starting goalie, that can produce but I think if that is not going to happen would like to see them go for a younger talent who will be the future so we can get this problem over with, maybe a not down year but a year in which we know what is going to happen. last year during the season we all expected more and the playoffs they produced but we got a good draw in the playoffs when Pitt and Wash. both eliminated, not saying we would not of beaten them but................ | |

| If they can free up some space by waiving Cote and Boucher then I see no reason why they shouldn't sign Turco. | |
